Kanaderu Tuneful Chidorigoshi Hounds Tooth Purple Pink Grey

This pattern is a variation of hound’s tooth, in tones of purple, pink and grey. In Japan, the pattern is known as “chidorigoshi”, because it is thought to resemble a flock of chidori (plover birds). The kanji character inside the circle is “kanaderu” meaning tuneful, i.e. to play a tune or hit the notes.

Art prints are available on Artflakes.

Customizable gifts carrying this design are also available on Zazzle. Add your name and initial inside the circle for a personalized design. Makes a wonderful gift that will brighten up any person’s day.

A royal blue and yellow version is also available.
