Shiawase Happy Japanese Sakura Cherry Blossoms

Shiawase Happy Japanese Sakura Cherry Blossoms

Lovely sakura or cherry blossoms decorate this design filled with traditional Japanese geometric patterns. Soft, muted pastel tones in green, yellow and blue complement the pink petals. A vivid cerise pink circle is in the center, with the kanji character “shiawase” meaning happiness, good fortune, luck or blessing.

I had fun drawing these blossoms, the quintessential flower of Spring. Perfect for celebrating new births and new beginnings.
