Artist Profile
Hello and welcome to my online gallery.
Here I present my original art works both traditional and digital. I enjoy painting with acrylics and watercolors using a vibrant color palette in an impressionistic style. My digital work consist of Japanese-themed illustrations and Western interior design-centered 3D visualizations.
My works are inspired by the beauty of nature, city scenes and historical figures. I am also influenced by traditional Japanese-style art, folk textile design and ukiyo-e or 19th-century woodblock prints.
I love nothing better than having a blank piece of canvas or paper in front of me, where I can express thoughts, ideas, memories and dreams using paintbrush and paint.
Most of all, I love it when someone relates to these pieces. Sharing a connection through the visual arts is, for me, the most satisfying relationship of all.
Thank you for taking the time to view my works. I hope you can find a piece to connect with.
About this Website
On October 2013 I started building this website to share and catalog my original paintings and illustrations. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any inquiries or requests regarding original paintings.
Art Prints
Prints of my work are available on Fine Art America, Redbubble and Zazzle.
Each of these print shops use a different pricing scheme and print on different materials, thus there are pronounced differences in sizing, framing and pricing. However, I think it’s best to let my customers choose which print shop ships closest to where they live (All of them ship internationally but Zazzle is US-based, FAA is US-based with printers in the US and UK, Redbubble is Australian-based with printers in Australia, US and UK).
It may be a little confusing so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or requests.
Other Works
When not painting, I do photography and 3D visualization. I also love interior decoration and product design. For me, traveling is not merely a want but a need, because visiting different places and meeting new people truly help expand one’s horizons. Next to the painting I enjoy doing digital graphic design and making personalized gifts. I’m a self-taught painter, indeed a self-taught lots-o’-things, so one day I decided to teach myself how to swim.
Where I Work
Yokohama, a bay city near Tokyo, is the place my husband and I call home.
Connect With Me
While I have a bunch of social media accounts unfortunately I am only active on Instagram for the time being. I’d love it if you follow me there!
