Watercolor painting of red waterlilies with green leaves on a calm pond bathed in sunshine. I painted this piece, from memory, on March 2014 (I believe the lilies in the pond last year were pink rather than red, and were actually lotuses rather than waterlilies :)). Really looking forward to waterlily season this year for some plein air sessions!
赤い睡蓮は池を彩ってくれる素敵な夏の朝をイメージした水彩絵です。記憶から描いたのですが、実物は赤色よりもピンク（紫）・・・あ、あと、「睡蓮」よりも「蓮」だったような気がします^^ 今年の睡蓮（とハス）シーズンもとても楽しみにしています！
