A view of the Yokohama Museum of Art in autumn. This public building was designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tange Kenzo, and opened in 1989. The building is lovely, as is the park in front, filled with flowering plants over rectangular-shaped ponds. It’s easily one of my favorite places in the city. I painted this watercolor on November 2013.
