Kagayaki Radiance Japanese Ume Plum Blossoms in Gold Orange
About the Artwork
Beautiful Japanese plum blossoms (called “ume no hana” in Japan) on a geometric background of back-to-back letter C, called “konoji” in Japanese. Shades of red, orange, yellow and burgundy make up the plum blossom tones in subtle gradations. Decorative branch forms a frame around a white circle with gold lining. The blossoms, in full bloom, half bloom and buds, are prettily arranged to complement each other.
I had a fun time drawing the blossoms and branches. I hope you like it as much as I do! Enjoy the Spring theme with an elegant color palette.
The kanji character in the middle says “kagayaki”, meaning radiance or resplendence. If you’d like a different character please let me know so I can customize the image just for you.
