A slice of tropical paradise. Beautiful orange hibiscus flowers in front of golden sand beach with coconut tree, blue sky and sea, and colorful sunrise. I used impasto brushstrokes, matte medium and modeling paste to bring out the rich textures for this scene. Inspired by tropical island vacations in Bali and Guam, this makes a wonderful gift for anyone who loves the warmth of summer, the salty scent of the sea and early morning walks on the beach. I painted the original piece using acrylic on canvas, 33.4 x 24.2 x 1.5 cm.
