A view of the Yokohama Museum of Art in autumn. This public building was designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tange Kenzo, and opened in 1989.
The building is lovely, as is the park in front, filled with flowering plants reflected on rectangular-shaped ponds. It’s easily one of my favorite places in the city.

I hope you enjoyed this painting of one of my favorite places in the city. Every time I visit the museum I still feel like taking tons of photos and painting different angles even if I’ve been there many times before—it’s that much of a favorite 🙂
